- Instructions for using the FRS Radio

- 1. Turn on by pressing the POWER button for more than 1 second.
- 2. Press UP or DOWN to select channel.
- 3. Press MODE button. Then UP or DOWN to select CTCSS tone
(OF=none to 38). Press MODE button twice.
- 4. Turn off by pressing the POWER button for more than 1 second.
- 5. To lock the channel and tone, hold down the MODE button and
turn on as in 1 above. Repeating will unlock.
- 6. To send Call tone, hold down the UP or DOWN and press the
Push-To-Test button (PTT).
We usually set our radios to Channel 6 Tone 16. |
